Littleton Piano Project

Main Street - Littleton, NH
Summer 2011

For the Summer of 2011, pianos are being placed along the Main Street sidewalks for visitors and the people of Littleton to be able to play and enjoy. The donated pianos are being painted by local artists. The theme for the Project is "Be Glad...Make Music!".
The pianos will be available for public use between 10 AM and 9PM daily, barring rainy weather. The "Be Glad...Make Music!" piano was inspired by the artwork of Luke Jerram from London, England who has commissioned public use pianos titled "Play Me, I'm Yours" in over 20 cities worldwide.
The "Be Glad...Make Music!" theme celebrates the positive energy of the world famous "Pollyanna" authored in 1913 by Littleton resident, Eleanor H. Porter. This initiative was developed as a result of the May work of the Littleton Area Community Planning Project. Come to Littleton, Be Glad and Enjoy the Music!
